1. Who you're working with
Cwick is run by Shane Barron, a developer in Florida, USA, under Barron AI Solutions LLC. Shane builds with his own AI systems, reviews the code, and stands behind every site and app he delivers. All communication is in writing (the intake form, email, and the project page). There are no phone or video calls.
2. What you're buying
You pick one plan. Each plan has limits you can count before you buy:
| Plan | Built on | Limits | Ready |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter ($100) | yourname.cwick.us | up to 5 pages | the same day the intake is complete |
| Site ($150) | your own domain | up to 15 pages | live on a cwick address the day the intake is complete; on your domain after the DNS change (up to 24 hours) |
| App ($300) | your own domain | up to 3 kinds of logins, 5 kinds of records, 1 outside service | core feature working on a cwick address the day the intake is complete |
| Big App ($800) | your own domain | up to 6 kinds of logins, 12 kinds of records, 3 outside services | 3 business days after the intake is complete |
| Bigger | quoted in writing | quoted |
Definitions:
- Page: one web address with its own content (home, services, about, contact, each gallery, each policy page). A pop-up or a section on a page is not a page.
- Kind of login: a role with its own permissions (customer, staff, admin). Fifty staff with the same permissions are one kind.
- Kind of record: a type of thing the app stores and you can list, add, edit (leads, jobs, invoices, appointments), with up to 15 fields and a list of statuses it moves through. A kind with its own rules beyond that (calculations, approvals that branch, automatic actions) is quoted.
- Outside service: a third-party system the app connects to: a payment processor, a booking calendar, text messages, an accounting system. Email to your inbox and an embedded map don't count.
- Core feature: the one thing your people do first (add a lead, book a job, approve an application), working from start to finish with your sample records.
3. When the clock starts
The clock starts when your payment has cleared and we confirm your intake is complete. Required:
- Business name, what you do, where you work
- Logo file (no logo: we set your name as a text logo; logo design is a separate quote)
- 5 to 15 photos you own or have the right to use, with one marked for the top of the home page
- Your services or features as a written list (a link to an old site is not a list)
- Phone, hours, and the real email address forms send to
- Sites: the pages you want, ticked from the checklist. Apps: the kinds of logins, the kinds of records with their fields and statuses, and a sample of real records (a spreadsheet is fine) Optional, never blocks the start: review links, sites you like, your domain and registrar. If the intake isn't complete within 30 days of payment, we hold your place for 60 more days. You can ask for a full refund any time before the clock starts.
4. Changes
- You get 4 days of free changes, starting when we send you the finished site or app.
- A change is an adjustment to what was built: wording, photos, colors, layout, the order of things, a field's name, fixing anything that doesn't do what the plan described.
- New work is not a change: a new page beyond your plan, a new kind of login or record, a new outside service, a new feature. New work is quoted in writing, and you decide.
- After the 4 days, changes are quoted in writing before any work.
5. Fixes
Bug fixes in code we built are free for as long as you have the site or app. A bug means something we delivered stopped doing what it did in the version we sent you when your 4 days of changes began (or at the end of those days, with your changes in), whether or not you replied. It does not include new requests, changes you or someone else made to the code or settings, plugin or platform updates by others, your host's outages, or third-party services changing.
6. Payment
- Send your intake first. We reply in writing with your plan, the price, and a secure card payment link. Paid in full up front, in US dollars.
- Third-party costs are yours and are named before you pay them: your domain, your hosting (unless you host with us), paid plugins, and usage fees for outside services (for example an AI chat assistant uses your own API key and you pay its usage).
- Refunds: full refund any time before the clock starts. Once the clock starts, the plan price is not refundable; if we can't deliver what the plan describes, you get your money back.
7. Ownership
- When you've paid, you own your content, your design, and the code written for your project, and you can have a full copy to move anywhere.
- We keep the right to reuse our general building blocks (the shared tools and components that aren't specific to you).
- We don't show your site in our portfolio without your permission.
8. Your materials
You confirm you own or have permission to use everything you send us (logo, photos, text, data). You're responsible for what your site says, its prices, and your business's legal requirements (licenses, disclaimers, privacy policy wording). We'll place what you give us; we don't give legal advice.
9. Hosting and the domain
- Starter sites live on yourname.cwick.us, hosted by us and included for the first 12 months. After that, hosting is quoted before renewal. A small "Made by Cwick" link stays in the footer.
- Site and App plans go on your domain. Hosting is yours, or with us on your own server (section 9c).
- Moving your domain is a DNS change you make at your registrar (we send exact steps), or you give us access to do it. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours; the clock doesn't wait on them.
- If we host: daily backups, security plugin and monitoring included. If you host elsewhere, backups and uptime are your host's.
9b. Domains we sell
- You can buy a domain with any plan or on its own. We register it through Name.com with you as the registrant, so it's yours on paper; it sits in our Name.com account so we can manage it for you.
- Price: in your written quote, before you pay.
- The first year's registration is paid to the registry the moment the domain is registered, so it can't be refunded, even if the rest of your order is.
- Renewals: we email you a renewal payment link 30 days before it expires and renew only after the payment clears. Renewals can't be refunded once made.
- A new domain can't be moved to another registrar for 60 days (a registry rule). After that, ask and we'll send the transfer code.
- If the renewal isn't paid, we email you 3 times over 30 days; after that the domain may expire and you could lose it.
9c. Hosting with us (managed)
- Your own server (DigitalOcean), never shared with another client. The monthly price is in your written quote, before you pay.
- Included: daily backups, security plugin and alerts, software updates, uptime monitoring, the SSL certificate, and fixing anything that breaks on the server side.
- Not included: new features or changes beyond your 4 days; those are quoted.
- If a payment fails: we email you, and after 14 days we take a final backup, stop the server, and keep the backup 30 days so you can restore or move it.
10. Data
For apps, we load a sample of your records to build and test. Moving your full history is quoted separately. You're responsible for having the right to store the data you give us. Ask us in writing and we delete your data from our systems within 30 days.
11. What we don't do
Phone or video calls; ongoing marketing, SEO campaigns or ads; content writing beyond placing your words, unless quoted; promises about search rankings or sales.
12. Limits
Our total responsibility is limited to what you paid for the plan. We're not responsible for lost business, data you didn't back up, or third-party outages.
